Join the skiing adventure!

If your child is four years old, it is old enough for a ski course in Wagrain. The snow sports instructors of the Wagrain Ski School are perfectly trained in dealing with children and will teach your child Skiing with plenty of fun and amazement. We divide beginners and advanced skiers so the course can be organised based on the skills of the children. Here your children are well looked after! In addition to the course we also offer optional lunch care with lunch included. Our 2.5 hour courses are especially suitable for beginners.

Classification

We want to offer all our guests good service and this includes a quick system of putting people into the right groups. We have started a new system this year, putting people into 5 basic categories:

Anyone who is on skis for the first time or who really wants to go over everything from the very beginning.

Based on years of experience, we teach beginners only 2.5 hours a day. Here we see the best learning success for beginners, because the children do not get too tired and have fun learning over several days.

One level above beginners. You can slow down but not very well, your snowplow is a bit wobbly and needs practise. You can ONLY ski down the beginners' slope.

Your snowplow is perfect and you can ski down blue slopes/pistes quite easily. You can stop whenever you want and basically have the skis under control. You can do basic snowplow turns.

You can ski fast snowplow turns and are almost parallel when the slope/piste is not too steep. You can ski down red slopes/pistes, even if you are still a bit slow and unsure, but crossing the slope is no problem. You can do snowplows fast or old school „stem turns".

Blue and red slopes/pistes are no problem, and you can even get down black ones sometimes. When it's not too steep you can carve, but as it gets steeper you still need one or two stem turns. Parallel is the aim!
